They do not attempt to counter the day of silence, if they truly wished to express an alternative view point in a respectful matter they would seek a dialog with gay students (student to student, not adult lead organization) about the issues that the day of silence is talking about, something the day of truth does in no way. There always should be a place in schools for respectful differences of opinion, but the Day of Truth’s misleading promotion of a ‘compassionate and loving dialogue’ does a disservice to the complicated social and moral issues that one finds in the debate surrounding the ‘truth’ about homosexuality.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
